Safari Itinerary: Day 1 – 4
Following an arrival in Mfuwe, you will be met by Flatdogs staff and transferred to Flatdogs Camp in the South Luangwa National Park, one of the last great wildlife wonders of the world. Spend 3 nights in this park that is nine thousand square kilometers (3,475 square miles) of pristine wilderness that can be explored with game drives and guided safari walks. The Luangwa Valley is home to incredible diversity of life, including around 100 species of mammals, more than 400 bird species and over 2000 types of plants.

Safari Itinerary: Day 4 – 8
Luambe Camp staff will meet you at Flatdogs where you will start your journey to Luambe National Park. Enjoy a 4 hour road transfer, allowing you ample time to take in the new surroundings, diverse wildlife as well as experience the astonishing birdlife encountered along the way. Spend 4 nights in Luambe National Park which offers a Luangwa Valley experience reminiscent of the early days in the Valley – remote and wild!

THE CONSERVATION STORY
The story of Luambe Conservation Project goes beyond a normal safari and you can actively participate in various projects that are restoring the park to its former glory.
Safari Itinerary: Day 8 – 11
Luambe Camp staff will transfer you to Mfuwe airport on your last morning in Zambia. You will then catch your flight to Lilongwe (included in this package) where you will disembark and be met by a Ulendo Airlink staff member who will help you negotiate immigration, arrange your visa and catch your connecting flight to Likoma. On arrival at Likoma, Kaya Mawa staff will pick you up and after a quick 20 minute road transfer, you will arrive at the resort. Settle into your room with a view and enjoy the fantastic beaches, relaxing surrounds and a wide variety of water activities to enjoy the lake. Whether you are enjoying treatments at the inhouse spa, dining moments and drinks on the beach or discovering the diverse fish species while snorkeling in the crystal clear waters, Kaya Mawa is a paradise!
