Where is Luambe National Park?

Luambe National Park is located on the eastern bank of the Luangwa River, halfway between South and North Luangwa National Park . Camp co-ordinates are as follows: Luambe Camp: -12.459237, 32.144198  |  Kaskizi Bushcamp: -12.544918, 32.147932 

Travel Routes to Luambe

We suggest the following means of getting to Luambe:


Daily flights are available fro Lusaka to to Mfuwe Airport Luambe will collect the clients from the airport and drive them into camp*. Travel time is 3 – 3.5 hrs.


Charter flights are available from Mfuwe to Waka-Wak Aristrip. Luambe will collect the clients and drive them into camp. Travel time  is about 30 min.


Transfers from any other lodge in the Luangwa valley (Mfuwe Area) can be arranged by Luambe.* Transfer time will depend on the lodge location.

*Road transfers costs:  USD 110,00pp (one way between Luambe / Mfuwe). Max 4 pple per vehicle.
